Sarjit leads the Risk Assurance practice at Ardent Business Advisory, a member firm of Kreston International and a unit of In.Corp Global. He specialises in internal audit, risk management, regulatory compliance, financial due diligence and sustainability reporting services to public listed companies, government ministries, statutory boards, financial institutions and multinationals.

Sarjit has built an extensive career in assurance and advisory, including 16 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers. Prior to Ardent, Sarjit was the CFO of AIA Singapore and Aviva Asia.

He currently holds several industry appointments, including Chairman of Singapore Accountancy Commission’s Chartered Accountancy Learning and Assessment Committee – Foundation Programme, and member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants Investigation and Disciplinary Panel.

Sarjit presently serves as a District Councillor and Chairman of the Finance Committee at Central Singapore Community Development Council, and as Honorary Secretary of the Singapore Indian Development Association Executive Committee.

Sarjit was conferred the national honours of Public Service Star (BBM) in 2011 and the Public Service Medal (PBM) in 2007. Sarjit was also the winner of the Nanyang Alumni Achievement Award in 2012, conferred by the Nanyang Technological University in recognition of his professional achievements and contributions to the nation.

Sarjit was appointed by the Singapore government in 2016 to serve on the Committee on the Future Economy (CFE) – Working Group on Legal and Accounting Services.

In 2019, Sarjit was awarded the prestigious SkillsFuture Fellowship. Presented by the President of the Republic of Singapore, this award honours individuals as masters of skills and mentors of future talent.
